Exposure
These are promotional posters for a fictional exhibit in the RISD museum. The exhibit is a response to the constantly growing industry of photography, which allows for incredible access to cameras.
The exhibit was designed to inform the modern, casual camera owner of the historic, social and artistic merits of Photography. Also to show the viewer’s other artistic alternatives to photography besides the point and shoot method.
Photography was once a scientific spectacle, but because of the ease of taking and processing a picture, the mystical nature has been lost, and everyone is now able to be a “photographer.”
