WWII

This poster series was influenced by my interest in history, more specifically war and its effect on various societies and how the progression of these hostile events have come to inform and influence the time we live in now.

I wanted to focus on two clashing aspects of the war: the production side, which created jobs and stimulated technological growth, and the casualty side, where the objects that were being produced were used to destroy lives and create long term devestation. Interestingly, in terms of numbers, America is at the top for production, and at the very bottom for casualties. This dialogue between the two posters is what I was interested in expressing.
